To those of you that might plan on watching Youtube videos on a 5.3" Samsung
Galaxy Note and want to watch Youtube videos in 720p I have some info for
    you,

FYI so you can see the difference between 720p and 480 the following video
has fine print you can read if you are using 720p at the 13 second mark.
2/29/2012 -- TORNADO alerts/watch -- OH, WV, KY, TN, MS, AL, SC, NC, VA, new
    england
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HsPW1Ns7CdE

Because Youtube keeps defaulting to 480 instead of 720p the only way I know
to watch Youtube videos in 720p without adding any extra software is with
    the following:

    1. Go to youtube.com

    2. Go to the very bottom of the screen and tap on the link to "Desktop" if
you are not already in Desktop mode.

    3. After you select a video make sure you select the browser to play it
    instead of the youtube app.

    4. Once your video starts in the browser instead of the youtube app use the
gear on the lower right to change the resolution to 720p. Note: I don't
know if this gear shows up on Android 4.0 but I know it does on Gingerbread.

    5. Then after the resolution has been changed to 720p you can go fullscreen
and read all the fine print.

Forget about using the youtube app with the Samsung Note because even if you
select HQ the video quality sucks compared to what the 5.3" Note can do.

I spoke to someone that says the Samsung Rep says they are trying to fix
    that issue.

Well the Nexus could also do 720p and it gets **** from youtube.
