Is there a phone that anyone can recommed for someone that has less than
perfect hearing. My Dad's hearing is below average at best and there is no
way we can get him to wear a hearing aid. I'm looking into replacing his
current cellphone. It doesn't need to be fancy or have color or a camera or
the ability to get to the internet. We just need something that has real
good sound quality on calls. I'm not looking for the best bargain -- but the
best quality regardless of the price. Thanks

My dad is in similar situation.
I just bought Nokia 3595 for my mother. He can easily use her phone and can
    hear when it rings.

    I second the 3595. It's got four things going for it . . .
    1) Good quality audio (both ways)
    2) Really LOUD, for both ringer and phone call volume, if you turn it UP
    3) Relatively cheap (sometimes free, depending on the provider and current
    promotions)
    4) Good reception (pulls in weak signals great)

I vote for the Motorola V60i. I've tested many phones but the Motorola V60i
is the best I've found. It sounds more like a 'real' phone and fits your
    ear better.

The Nokia phones are flat and they slide off your ear you constantly have to
adjust the phone to fit your ear.
