When?
I wanna get coverage in NewYork City in places where T-Mobile doesn't work.
Any info on it?

Probably after the merger is finalized (Q4'04).

PS: Cingular Preferred Nation customers already have (and have had)
access to all of AT&TWS' network for no extra charge.

Next Friday. The deal has already gone through and both networks
were combined yesterday. I'm surprised you didn't read about it in
the news group alt.cellular.cingular.we.want.it.tomorrow.subscribers

No extra charge. Just the 50% extra that that plan costs.

I think he is referring to ATT and Chingular having roaming agreements
in markets were both companies are running networks.

I hope that Chingular changes the ATT towers in markets where both
companies have GSM 1900 to home net. But I've the feeling that they
wont.

They will prob sell the ATT towers to T-Mobile who has expressed
interest AFAIK in building their own network in CA.

It would be nice is Cingular was known for being able to actually use
their cell network for phone calls!
