Hello There:
I have a Sony Ericson T616 phone and I got the DCU-10 data cable to
synchronize it with my computer.
I was wondering if I could connect to the internet (my computer has a 56k
modem) using this cable. My Internet Service Provider is Earthlink.
I don't have much knowledge about it.
Can it be done?, Would I be using my regular minutes in my phone or do I
have to ask for that connection to Cingular? Maybe I have to pay extra?
Thank you for your help.
Regards
Mo

Yes you can. Use the dial up wizard supplied in the software that came with
your phone. It comes out of your regular minutes. If you have a GPRS account
for your phone (WIX) you can use that for service also, but be warned, you
can accrue large charges quickly using GPRS through your PC.
