I have a 6340i. I would like to get a new phone (v600 or another
Nokia), but would also like to keep the 6340i for it's TDMA/Analog
capability, as a backup, for when I travel.

What would be the best way to set that up with Cingular? I assume you
cannot have two phones with the same phone number? Does anyone know if
there is a way to have a shared minutes plan with Cingular, between a
GAIT phone and a GSM-only phone?

Or, am I out of luck and will have to maintain a separate account for
    the GAIT/6340i phone?

Any creative ideas would be much appreciated.

    Dan

You would have to maintain the GAIT account to keep the TDMA/Analog
activated. As far as your new GSM phone, all you have to do is put the SIM
out of your 6340i in it and it is ready to go with the same number on it
    already.
