my mom has a nokia 3360(TDMA) and i want to get a nokia 3595(GSM) for me to put it on her plan and share minutes with her. I would prefer to keep them both on the same plan and shar minutes.Would cingular do this?

No. I tired this with my wife. The will let you put a GSM phone on a TDMA
plan (doing it right now) if it is the only phone but they wil not let you
mix phones.

On a similar note. I was told (off the cuff by a tech support rep at
Cingular) that if you have a GAIT phone and want to put it on TDMA, give
them only the ESN if you only want GSM, give them only the IMEI and swap
your SIM card in that case.
They will pitch a fit with you to get you on GSM all around. That is their
job. If this is not what you want, keep climbing the food chain at Cingular
until you get what you want.
