Inspired by the monumental announcement last week that T-Mobile will
contigently acquire the Cingular SBC PacBell CA/NV network & spectrum,
I have created a series of maps detailing the ramifications of the
dissolution of the network-sharing agreement & the subsequent transfer
    of assets.

You will find the animated map sequence in the Other Maps section at
    my web site:

    A few comments and questions.

    1
What screen resolution were you running when you made that gif?
Try to keep a GIF size under 1024 X 768.
That is what most people run for screen resolution.

Give a little better description on the slides!!!!!!!
After looking at for several loops....
it still isn't that making that much sense.

As I watch it, here is what I see.
    VS spectrum evolution
    VS idle spectrum 2001 (ok)
    (map)(ok)
    (plus)(ok)
    Plus spectrum from cingular (ok)
    (equals)(ok)
Voicestream contributions to cingular network agreement(???)
(map that doesn't seam to fit above)(????)
    (equals)
    Voicestream T mobile network.
    Dissolution of networks?
    (map)(???)
    (equals)(??????)
    T mobile 2005(???)
    (Map)(??????)

The animation doesn't seam to follow a logical path.
And the maps don't really make any sense in the order
they are shown, and with the titles they are preceded by.

If you already know the stuff, the maps and their context
makes sense, but for someone that doesn't........
They have no real idea of what context you are showing them in.

    ................
Basically a nice way of saying...... the animation left
me more confused than when I started. :-(

Thanks for the feedback. At the very least, you are honest.

None of the content at the web site is intended for the layperson or
average wireless consumer. The expected audience is assumed to be
cognizant of the inner workings of the wireless industry. As such,
failure to comprehend the logical sequence of the map animation
indicates either a lack of familiarity w/ the history of the
    network-sharing transactions between VoiceStream/T-Mobile & Cingular
or a lack of understanding of the process of partition &/or
    disaggregation or both.

Thus, you have some reading to do! Start at the beginning w/ the
    TinyURL-linked FCC application documents.

Once you have assimilated the preceding information, I suspect that
the map sequence will come into focus more clearly.
