    I don't recall whether Sprint does the no-contract thing or not, still.
    They used to do it, you'd just pay $10 more per month. I started that way
    with Sprint because I needed to be sure they had service in our neighborhood
    before I committed to a contract.

    I do believe Cingular does the no-contract thing, though. At least they used
    to. I haven't heard that they've gotten rid of it but OTOH I'm not a Cingular
    customer.

    SPCS *does* provide an option for no contract. It comes with a $10=20
    additional monthly fee, but it's available. You can't buy a phone=20
    and get a rebate without some commitment, but that's obviously not a=20
    real issue here.

    They did as of last summer. I've not heard of any policy changes.
