Is there any way, if you have a Cingular cell phone but no active
account with Cingular, to connect with an operator and make a call
paid for on one's credit card?

I remember that you could back in AMPS days, But haven't tried it lately. It
was $4.00 for the first minute $2.50 after that if my memory serves me.
