I hope I am not the only person why purchased this Samsung phone.
Assuming that I am not, I wonder if anyone out there can help me.

The Cingular web site does not recognize this phone as MMS compatable!
Why? No explanation given. When I called Cingular to sign up for MMS,
I was assured that it would work, because if had a color camera built
in. Well, they signed me up, told me to turn the phone off for 20
minutes and all would be well.

It did not happen. The phone still cannot log into the MMS system.

    Does anyone know why?

Either (a) your account is not provisioned for MMS, and/or (b) your phone is
not configured properly. Take your phone to a (real) Cingular store, and
don't leave until they get it working.

This will be interesting to follow. In Navas fantasy world, they'll fix
    it all in 10 minutes.

Less. You're obviously clueless about this too.

So tell us, Mr. Know-it-all, how long should it take? And how many
    visits?

    You're welcome.

Well, Cingular took about 40 minutes to locate the person who knew the
answer. It seems Samsung has not submitted the configuration data to
    Cingular yet.

At least that is the current Cingular story.
