I'd like to find out how to place the Moto V600 into a mode allowing
additional "engineering-type" Network & RF parameters to be displayed,
similar to what one can do with a Nokia via unique keypad codes.
I've done quite a bit of looking around at some sites, and have only
been able to find a few that sell a SIM for putting it into test mode,
but it was for stuff like accessing security codes and such.
Since I'm only familiar with the Nokia (both TDMA and GAIT phone's
capability--I'm wondering how Moto incorporates those features.
Here's a summary of my two questions:
1.) I'd welcome hearing whether it's accessable by mere data entry
or is a specially programmed SIM required?
2.) If indeed a spcl SIM is required, once forced into test mode,
can the subs regular SIM be put back and still have use of the "field
test mode-type screen?" This would be very similar to Nokia's
functionality. Or...does it become a piece of test equip until such
time you remove the specially programmed SIM and only works with a
"test" number that the Network operator provisions?

Yes indeed sim cards are outstanding in their own right, but my comments and beliefs tend to persuade the latter, "network provisions only. By the way, in my opinion not one other is even remotely close to nokia's functionality....etc etc/ correct me if I am wrong
