I switched to Cingular, and find its phones, plans, coverage
availability of phone support and Network infinitely superior to TMobile
or Sprint, but Cingular is handling this Web foul-up all wrong.

At the very least they need to have a small box prominently displayed at
the sign on page on http://www.cingular.com ; apologizing for the
    missing information and giving a date certain when it will be fixed;
    and then FIX IT.

    =====

Still impossible to quickly, accurately check your minutes used or
    available.

The "My Accounts" was down over night, back up now, but unchanged.

Still impossible to track your minutes used as Free Mobile to Mobile
minutes are not subtracted for "Daytime" minutes used. Rollover minutes
remaining are also no longer shown.

Same incorrect information given out by the automated system on 611. If
you wait for a Representative, and Firmly Insist for the correct
information - minus Mobile to Mobile they will reluctanltly find it for
    you.

    Jack,

This single issue that you keep repeating over and over... is it as
important as you are making it out to be? I mean what's the big deal
about knowing how many minutes you have left anyway? Especially since
you are so happy with the other aspects of the service.

Simply telling the 10 of us who read this newsgroup over and over about
this problem certainly is not going to get it fixed.

You do know that don't you?

You'd be surprised what can happen from a POST.

Software can't be written that way. When it's written, debugged and
proved it'll be on the site.

I know from long experience on Usenet that it's very rare for anything of
    consequence to happen.

Yes NAVA defending everything wrong Cingular does as perfectly OK is
    definately SPAM.

It's another week now, and the website still can not be used to track
minutes used. Neither can the 611 number.

Thats ample grounds for VOIDing one's contract as sales brochures
promised easy minutes tracking, which is now imposssible.

    Rare is not zero.

For all intents and purposes it is zero. Just like the state lottery -- while
there is some very small chance of winning, it's statistically zero, and has
an expected negative return, just like time spent posting to Usenet. ;-)

Spam is defined as posted the same content repeatedly.

****, Zwick, pay the gotdam $3 for the itemized list. This is great for a
tightwad trying to tell others how to raise their kids. Get a LIFE. I know
it's been crappy weather, but PLEASE find something else to do than TROLLING
    all over Usenet, OK?!?

ONLY if the web is the only way to check minutes, and ONLY if it is in the
sales brochures as the only way to check minutes.

I guess you missed that episode of "Barney Visits the Lawyer."
