Billing

Does cingular show the actual incoming phone number on their bill?? Right
now I have verizon and all incoming numbers are not shown on the bill, so I
have to keep a notepad record for taxes( real estate business). Now that my
contract is coming up I'm will be looking to switch carriers and one of the
requirements will be have the actual phone number of who called show on the
bill.

Colour me curious... but how does knowing the incoming number impact
your real estate taxes?

My bill (paper and online) shows all numbers. Incoming and outgoing.

Mine did not used to, but has started showing incoming numbers
about six months ago or so. I used to just get "incoming" and it
would show MY number, but they must have done some sort of
upgrade awhile back. If it is SUPER important I wouldn't count on
it since it didn't used to appear, it may disappear at some point.

LOL. He didn't say "real estate taxes" but "taxes (real estate
business)". I suspect he's deducting a portion of the cell bill based
on percent of business calls (hence the need to see the incoming
number). Is that based on 3 months per year of detail tracking? At
what percentage of business to personal can you just ignore the personal
use and treat the entire bill as an expense--the few real estate people
I know are ALWAYS on the cell phone--they must see thousands of minutes
of business use as opposed to a hundred or so personal!

Yes they do. And have for years now, both TDMA and GSM.
