How about flashing a v180 with the v600 firmware, to make it into a
    camera ?

What should i flex/flash a Motorola phone with that is branded t-mobile? I
simply want to restore the 850 band for dobson roaming, etc but want t-mobile
to be the preferred network and want to leave the tmobile logo's, tzones, etc
as is. I'm talking about the v180, v300, v600. Thank you for your assistance.
I edited the 0025.0001 seem to add the 850 band in my v600, worked but seemed
to float back and forth between tmo and dobson, I'd prefer it to stay with tmo
unless that network was unavailable. Jay

If you flash the phone all personalizations will be erased. It's
basically reformatting your phone's operating system. The phone won't
know what "preferred" network is. That's all determined by how the
    SIM is programmed.

I didn't change how the sim is programmed, just altered what i had to to have
the phone also look at the 850 band. But I suppose there is more to it in the
phone than what i did. And I'm not real familiar with these motorola phones.
If preferred is in the sim, It should still be working, but isn't. Jay
