Kicking around the idea of switching from my 6340i to a Motorola V220.
    I don't need/want the camera, I'm just after a smaller phone.

    Any problems/complaints with the v220?

    Thanks,

Except for the camera, I am pretty happy with my v220. I wish the earpeice
could be made a bit louder, but that's the only real negative. There are a
few annoying things, but I suppose you can get those with any phone: it
scratches fairly easily, the menu structure is a little odd, and the "dial"
button is on the "wrong" side. Battery life is excellent, and it seems to
maintain the connection very well. I get signal where I didn't before,
though that may be due to ATT towers- I can't say which it is. The v180 may
be the same phone without the camera.

The V180 doesn't seem to be Motorola's best effort. We've had to take
a few back, due to no service in areas that other handsets only had
weak signal. We're returning our entire stock.
