I have a Samsung x427. One of the backgrounds, or wallpapers, is a
clock with a race car. i have searched high and low for a replcement
background with a clock. i love having the current time right there,
but hate the rest of the image. any ideas?

    See More: background

Wallpaper is a static picture - it never changes. If you want a
clock, that's in addition to any wallpaper you have showing.

ok... the image of the car, and most of the display images that came
with the phone are animated. maybe i used the wrong terminology, if so
i may have been looking in the wrong places for a different image to
    download.

Just because there is a spirite or an animated element, doesn't make it
    not Wallpaper.

I'd have to check the manual (the dummy phone doesn't have animated
anything), but an animated image might be an animated gif.

The original question was about a clock. I suppose that if someone
just wanted a picture of a clock it could be wallpaper, but I can't
see how to have an actual working clock set as wallpaper.
