You need to fix your mailer. You've sent out everything twice and

That is unless Nextel employees want to move to India. Sprint has a large
chunk of its customer service there.

both suck. when my brother had nextel they kept billing him wrong. and he
kept getting spam text messages and they charged him for them. when he asked
for text messages to be turned off they told him that they would have to
turn off his voice mail. what crap

AIUI, Nextel has little in the way of call centers as it is; either
all or a rather large portion of Nextel (Communications -- dunno about
Partners) CS is outsourced (note I didn't say "offshored"), and a lot
of Nextel's CS calls are answered in Canada.

AFAIK, SPCS and Nextel are the only two major carriers to outsource CS
in any sigificant way; T-Mobile and VZW provide CS almost exclusively
through company-owned, domestic call centers (they may use outsource
centers for overflow during busy times), and I believe that Cingular
does as well, except for "AT&T Wireless"/"Cingular Blue" prepaid CS,
which got offshored about a year ago. Guess which two carriers
generally gets highest marks for CS -- yup, TMO and VZW. Hmm...

You have posted this crap in MANY places Gerald. First off, if your in
retail sales for one of these companies, YOUR A LOSER, or your lazy.
Go get an education, secure a REAL career(job) and make some real money. You
seem young, your going to find out too late that these companies WILL NOT
take care of you in the long run.
Get smart real fast, time is passing you by. The longer you stay in a
deadend job the more you will suffer later. You won't have a retirement, you
won't have a 401K to fall back on.You won't get any SSI until your 67 years
of age (like that will be available then). They will discard you like a pizza
    box later in life.
Take this as a roadsign in life and change your route, get smart, get going
be successful. Nows your chance to say goodbye to Sprint/Nextel and get a
real career. They are forcing your hand, make a SMART choice.
Start out 2005 by making something goood out of your life, Working as a Rep
for a company that doesnt give a **** about you is waiting for your personal
    trainwreck to occur.
AND STOP POSTING THIS SOUR-GRAPES CRAP. We don't feel sorry for you at all,
you made this choice, either live with it or do something about it. *****ing
    won't do the trick.

well, I dont understand this merger because of the infra structure
    differences.

I wonder if Sprint has decided to go GSM?

It didn't hurt Telus in Canada to be running CDMA PCS and iDen. Why
    should it hurt Sprint PCS?

Re: Sprint Nextel merger is a bad thing for Nextel Staff

If it's regarding customer service people they are disposable to cellular
companies. My 15 years of using a cellular service I haven't once talked to
a competent customer service rep who knew what they were selling and
supporting. Who cares...they'll just be hired by Verizon or Cingular and
continue to answer questions wrong and make it terribly hard for customers
to get any satisfaction. That's just the way some people are and the company
    lets it happen.

Nextel has reportedly decided to go CDMA2000 to replace its badly aging iDEN
    technology.

Unique? I've been called worse. Thank you for the link. I don't recall seeing

DELL gave up on that venture long ago. They found the quality lacking
