It occurred to me that I didn't include that piece of information in the
previous post. I apologize. It was still early(ish) here when I posted it.

BTW, small world - I blew off (oops, I mean "spent") two years of college at
UD, have a bunch of friends in the Miami Valley, and it turns out now that my
brother is getting a job in New Carlisle and will be living in Old North Dayton.

And I am not surprised that Sprint's coverage isn't wonderful in Dayton.
Downstate seems to be a problem for them. My web/email/etc. sits on a leased
server colocated in Columbus, and the guy who runs my colo has used both Sprint
and VZW there and tells me he wasn't too impressed with Sprint either.

Sprint's coverage "isn't wonderful" in many areas of the country. That's why
your continued whining about the VZW AC plan makes you appear to be so
    goofy.

Neither is Verizon's, so you can both claim victory. The fact that this
portion of this thread has gone on so long about coverage that affects less
than 5% of the American population (and less than 3% at any given point in
time) shows that maybe its really not worth the energy. If you ask me,
coverage sucks with both carriers- I don't get a signal at my favorite
fishing spot up in the Rockies. Maybe I could beat that point to death for
a week or two here- seems to be the popular thing to do.

That's certainly what Steve enjoys doing. Personally, I don't expect *any*
carries to work *everywhere*. I'm simply pleased that the VZW AC plan has
worked everywhere I've need it to work so far, and that other people's
experiences indicate that it probably will wherever I need to go in the
    future.
