    Hello,

I am a former owner of the Ericsson T616 which I used for a long time
with my Jabra bluetooth headset. I recently upgraded to the T637 and
my battery life is crap when I have my headset connected.

One thing that I've noticed is on my T616, when I am not talking on my
phone w/ jabra headset, the bluetooth connection icons doesn't seem to
indicated that it's connected to the jabra device. However, on my new
T637, the bluetooth status icon is always connected. I believe this is
what is killing my battery life,

Does anyone have any ideas, right now my best bet is to shut off the
headset when I am not using it, but there's got to be away to no have
it connected all the time, perhaps a standby mode on the ear piece
    itself?

    Best Regards,

    Wes

Check the Bluetooth settings in the T637 to see if there's an Auto mode
    instead of an On mode.

Otherwise, you may have better luck with a Sony Ericsson Bluetooth headset.
I use an HBH-30 with my Z600 (much like a T63x in clamshell form), and battery
life is very good on both of them.

Re: T637 and Jabra Bluetooth Headset

Thanks for your reply John. I actually found the fix for the T637.
    It's intuitively located in:

Menu > Connect > Bluetooth > Handsfree > Car Handsfree

There are two options, 1) Advacned (which, as far as I can tell, just
means that the device is ALWAYS connected which kills battery life on
both the phone and jabra headset) and 2) Power Save (which does not
maintain a persistent connection, only when a call is place or recieved
    does the device connect)
The Z600 has always been more "settings friendly"
