    We just purchased several telephones and ported the numbers earlier
    today. I signed onto AOL from my new Motorola v551 phone and could
    then see everything that I typed on the conversation screen but could
    not see any responses from the other person on my cell screen (I don't
    think that they were ever received). My buddy could see both what I
    sent and what he sent on his computer conversation screen (normal). I
    can receive text messages sent from others on my phone including a test
    one that I sent from the cingular.com site and one from technical
    support but then I then tried to set up IM forwarding as another check
    and never received the message from mymobile.aol.com IM Forwarding
    Registration with the confirmation code that was sent to my phone.

    Does anyone have any idea of what to check? I have a call in to
    Cingular and they are escalating the problem but wondered if something
    like this had happened to anyone else or if anyone had any suggestions?

    AIM won't work on my Motorola V551

    How can I get AIM to work on my Motorola V551?. I get an error message telling me that my phone doesn't have access to the download page.

    Did you get a reply from Cingular on this? I have the same issue. Phone will log into aim and I can send messages but never recieve replies on the phone?
