Change carriers and pay the ETF don't waste your money on a new phone. Just
make sure you check out your new carrier and cancel in the trial period it
it doesn't work for you. Some people use a cellsocket/dock n talk with a
wireless phone at home if that is the only bad spot. You can place the cell
in a good spot like near a window and use your favorite home phone.

Put up with bad service at home $0
New carrier with good service at home $250
cell socket / dock n talk < $100
external ant $25 - $200
Big $$$ add an external ant and transverter/repeater:

You have choices, unless your phone is broke swapping phones is a waste.

Re: Reception Issues
Try looking for a different phone. You don't have to buy one from
cingular......try ebay where you can find a plethera of used phones and new
phones at a varying cost. But make sure you do some research on the different
phones that you may wish to purchase such as frequency and reception. Some
phones have better reception than others. Just my 2 cents!
