Looking for a phone with bluetooth and I noticed the Moto V551 and Nokia
6230 on Cingular's website. Which do you guys prefer? I have never owned a
Moto but if its best I am willing to give it a try.

    Thanks.

I haave the 6230, and it's the first phone that really works for me. The
Moto menus are non intutitive for me. I dislike the moto phonebook where a
contact with multiple numbers (work, mobile, home, etc) have to have
    different entries.

Not True. I have one address book entry with multiple numbers on my v551
(cell, work, home). Using the left & right arrow key I can page through
them or use voice rec. for calling.

Glad moto "fixed' it. On my old V400 (and the V600 IIRC), each number had
    it's own entry. Very cumberson.

I have used Moto HS820 bluetooth with Moto V600 and V551, both phones work
very good with HS820. But I could not get HS820 works with Treo650, Treo 650
won't even find HS820 during the setup.

I currently use the HS820 with the V551 and with the RIM 7290 it has no
problem switching between phones. I used the HS810 for a little while but
volume and the fit is not as nice as the HS820. Both the 6230 and the V551
are great phones it just depends if you want the flip or candy bar style
phone. Although the 6230 does have more memory for pics.

At the risk of showing my ignorance how do you add the other numbers to the

    Re: Phone with Bluetooth

I am still coming up with separate listings. I tried taking an existing
name/number going to view/edit/more/phone number and adding one that way as
well as starting from scratch and saving a "new" listing with the exact same
name as one already in use. Both ways are just listing it twice for me.
Yes, I am saving them to the phone's memory.
