I'm a sprint customer, out of my contract, and I want a bluetooth phone.
Sprint doesn't offer any good bluetooth phones, so I'm thinking of switching
    to Cingular.

Do you guys like cingular? any complaints? What about the RAZR phone?

    thanks!

I have a Motorola v600, a sort of fat Razr and love it. Cingular has its
faults, but is infintaely better than SprintPCS. Make sure you'd have
coverage at home, at work and in areas you frequent before switching.

The Sony-Ericsson T637 also has a good implementation of Bluetooth.

just out of curiosity, how is it better? I've had sprint for five years
without any unusual problems. Really the only reason I'm considering a jump
to cingular is Sprint's lack of bluetooth phones.

The Treo 650 in the CDMA version for Sprint has Bluetooth, and if you're
out of contract it should cost about the same as a Razr.

In my case, it was reception bad enough at home that I couldn't trust the
connection for calls. Worked fine at work, and better along the
    interstate than Cingular.

I am just assuming, since I live in a big, flat city (buffalo, NY) that
    coverage is fine.

Just one of my usual lurking spots... I'm not from Buff area, but I've been
in those parts a bit -- to visit some really good buddies of mine out in the
    NF area
