1. Purchased new T237 from Cingular website, and received phone three
weeks later. Called number in manual 877-426-0525 to activate, and they
told me I should call 800-211-2445 instead for a local number. Is this
legit? I'm in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area.
2. Plan on my son using the phone with the .25/min prepaid plan. I'm
not sure whether the phone is locked or unlocked, but the 64k sim card is
new and was preinstalled into the phone, and the menu says inactive sim.
Anything I should know before signing up? Do they give you the unlock code?
3. I was happy with his present virginphone & text messaging, but he
wants more features. Are text-messaing, internet browsing, and multimedia
messaging available with prepaid service, or only as add-ons to monthly
plans?
4. Any comments on the camera add-on for the T237? I've seen them on ebay
for $15?
5. When he turns eighteen, and we want to transfer service into his name,
can we change ownership of the account, or will he have to start a new
account?
