I work outside and would like a link to a free radar image of my city. I
tried entering this link:
http://www.crh.noaa.gov/radar/images...mpx/latest.gif
but the phone returned this: ?latest.gif
Could it be that the phone is incapable of displaying .gif files?

That's exactly what's happening.
Use your phone's browser to open up the address:
http://www.srh.noaa.gov/wml
and then navigate to the weather radar for your city, bookmarking that page.
Hope that helps.

Thank you very much, works great! You saved me $1.99 month subscription.
Thanks again.

Since we've already paid for the info available from that .gov URL, I've
always wondered why anyone would want to pay more for a subscription
service that gets it's data from the same source.

One more problem, I have to clear the cache every time before I access
the radar or it will load the previous image. Anyone know how to set the
phone to not use the cached image? I looked in the manual but couldn't
find anything. Thanks

Never mind, found it. It's called cache check.
