CINGULAR is the one that called the S46 a "GAIT" phone in the letter

From the sound of the letter he posted, he got fairly high up the food
chain.

I thought you were the all-knowing, all-connected Cingular expert. You
should already know about this letter since it is showing up in places all
over the country. I could shoot a digital pic of the letter, but there
isn't anywhere to post it. The rest of the letter, BTW, merely rambles on
about how great Cingular GSM America is and what great phones the Nokia 6010
and Moto V220 are.
At this point, I don't really care if you believe that the letter exists or
not. I'm not the only one who has received one and you're obviously not as
"in the loop" as you believe you are.

You couldn't keep the old plan if you had an S46, a T62u or a string-and-can
assembly. EVERYONE on an "AT&T Multi-Band" plan (that has received a letter
so far) is being forced over to Cingular GSM America National.

See my prior posts. I don't care to keep rehashing the same ground.

You've seen his letter? Really? Regardless, it's not a GAIT phone.

I don't think we're getting the whole story.

Nope.

Of course there is.

Just as I don't really care about your claims and accusations.

How do you know that?

Never said or even implied that I was.

How do you know that? How many have you personally verified?
Regardless, the bottom line is that there still hasn't been any citation of
actual contract language that has been breached by Cingular, just wild claims
of "unconscionable" terms. I think that's pretty strong evidence that there
hasn't been any such breach. YMMV. let's leave it at that unless and until
somebody has something new.

Not going to pay for a website to host proof for you. And I'm presuming you
know it is bad form to post in in this NG. You willing to post a JPG of the
letter on your website for all to see?

Because other people have posted as much here and elsewhere.

Yes, you do imply as much -- especially with the tone of your posts.

You're shifting the debate. So are you now conceding that the OP CAN'T keep
his old plan?

You're welcome. Apology accepted.

How many would those be, out of how many subscribers?

Not even close to the way you've been slinging legal mumbo-jumbo.

You're the one that's been changing his story and trying to shift the debate.

I'm still waiting for specific plan language that is claimed to have been
breached (as per the Subject of this thread) and/or is "unconscionable"
"one-sided" "patently unfair" "illegality" (as you have claimed), still
waiting for court precedents to that effect, still waiting for an actual
letter, still waiting...
