    hi, i need some help. i want to unlock my cingular sony ericsson z500a so i can use it with maybe verizon or t mobile or any other cell phone company. i have a usb cable. what do i need to do? thanks!

    I'm not sure how to unlock a SE Z500 but I do know when you do get it unlocked I'm pretty sure you can only use it with other GSM providers like T-Mobile but not Verizon, Sprint, and others that are CDMA and/or TDMA. Sorry I did'nt really answer your question about unlocking but if you have a cable I'm pretty sure you can unlock it just do a google search like Z500 unlocking software or if you have Bearshare or Kazaa you can get some software off there probably, I have.

    i did a search and i see that i have to have a T-28 cable. but i have a DCU-11 cable. can i use the DCU-11 for the unlocking?
