Hi,
I just switched from T-Mobile to Cingular. But something's wrong - I
can send messages
anywhere in the world, but I receive ONLY
messages sent from US carriers. I tried receiving from friends all
over Europe, and they all get confirmation that the message has been
send, but it gets lost somewhere in the Atlantic Ocean. I could receive
international messages for the first day only.
Has anyone had a problem like that or knows how to fix that???

I have an email forwarding address that forwards to my cell phone. I don't
give out my actual text message address, I give out the forwarding address.
It can be accessed as a regular email address from anywhere in the world,
and there are no additional charges for "International" text messages, since
the cell phone receives the message from my other US address.
If I change phone numbers, or cellular carriers, my incoming text address
does not change--I just change the text address that it forwards to.
