    Greetings all,

I've been trying to figure out how (if at all) I could set up my Sony
Ericsson T637 with legacy AT&T service to work as a Bluetooth fax modem
with my PC, and haven't gotten much of a straight answer from
Google(outdated) or Cingular's customer service(clueless). Any idea on
whether this would be possible, and at what cost?

Sorry about the cross-posting; I beg forgiveness in advance and am
trying to limit it only to relevant groups...

    *cringes*

Any info or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,
    -s.

Cingular specifically noted that they do not support the Fax option in the
Motorola-supplied Mobile Phone Tools. It does not work. They know it, and
    they don't care.

Another option, that I have used, after having John Navas point it out, is
fax1.com, which is 12 cents per page outbound for faxes. You can download
software to "print" to their service, or you can send a specially formatted
email with an attachment, or you can post via a web form. You can
    subscribe to inbound fax services.

efax.com offers free inbound, but is a subscription for outbound. I do
very little of either, so I want a pay-per-use instead of a subscription.

These solutions assume you can tether your PC to your phone, and use GPRS
for the internet connection with an appropriate package.
