Just spoke with a salesman at 1-866-CINGULAR who told me the 6682 reached
the end of its life cycle at Cingular. I find that hard to believe, as the
phone had only been out for a few weeks from what I understand. I asked him
about it, and he told me that it had been replaced by some Nokia flip
phone... not a smartphone... so I know he was uninformed. Has anyone else
heard anything about this highly elusive phone?

    Thanks-

It's been pulled (temporarily, permanently who knows?) for being a
    buggy phone.

Thanks for the article... I read it, and it was updated that it had been
placed back on Cingular's website. I checked, and it has! It must have
been in teh last 24 hours, too.

I'm usually not too impatient about things, but I'm torn between ordering it
from Cingular and sending it to IUNLOCK to have it flashed (costing me about
$350 total for both), or waiting until LetsTalk.com carries them again...
Last I checked on LetsTalk (before they took it down 2 weeks ago), it was
$149. I guess I'll be patient, but the chick I spoke with at LetsTalk told
me they had a VERY HIGH backorder for this phone.
