Why must this be so damn hard??? How can anyone weed the
truth out of all the hype and lies???
I want a cell phone for use with Cingular service. My requirements
are simple:
* Really good reception/signal
* Really good audio (including speakerphone)
* Really good battery life
* Flip-phone strongly preferred
* Motorola brand preferred
Can anyone send me a recommendation?

Thanks,
/Mark

Re: Arrg! Plz help me choose a cell phone!!!
when you said good reception signal.i thought nokia
then you said good speakerphone and i thought motorola v3 instead
then based on the rest of your requirements the final answer is
easy - motorola razr v3

I'd Avoid the Moto v180 on grounds of signal strength. Places where I'd have
zero bars on the 180, I have one or two bars on my Nokia candy bar-style.

I would recommend that you re-think your requirements.
Remove Motorola and all of a sudden you are looking at lots of possibilitys
that are BETTER than Motorola.

not at all. im not a big motorola fan, i'm a nokia guy, but my wife loves
motorola and has gone through several moto phones. i didn't like any
of them until she got the v3. not a very exciting phone in terms of what
it can do, but the speakerphone is awesome (far better than my 6620)
and the RF in the fringe area we live in is nearly equal.
