I live in Kalamazoo, MI zip 49009, When I checked for the Cingular avilablty
, by putting my ziocode on the Cingular web site shows Cingular service is
avilable, I called Cingular customer service 866-246-4852, when I gave my
zipcode he said it is not avilable in my area yet. What is going on, any
help, because I want switch from Sprint to Cingular.

Ask people you know in your area if they use Cingular and/or see if there
are Cingular stores in the area. If the stores are there then they must
have service and you can definitely drop in and try it. I've been all
around the area but not in Kalamazoo specifically and found service to be
good. All around the Ann Arbor area is great and the maps show heavy
coverage all around you. Call them back and get a new rep.

Why do you want to switch from Sprint to Cingular? CDMA is a more advances
technology and provides higher data speeds.

Not true, but regardless, what matters is the carrier, not the technology, and
the actual service in your particular area. Here in Northern California,
Cingular is clearly better than Sprint.
