V551 Battery For Free

My V551 was giving error messages about 'unable to charge' and that became
'invlaid battery' and then it died.
I went to the Cingular repair store in my area and without a question the
battery was replaced after checking my record. The person would not answer
my question about it being a known issue with this phone. But I'm happy as I
got a new battery already charged.

I had the same issue with my v551 (among any others), I ended up
complaining until they replaced the whole phone with a razr...I'm
happy, but I wish the razr had edge capability.
