They can't leave the PTT speaker on most of the time, which was the
whole point of the company getting them PTT, so a group broadcast could
be made, that the employees would not miss. Add to that, the Nextel
coverage problems, and it was really a waste of money.

Cingular PTT won't help them much. The coverage is better than Nextel,
but there are still many areas in the Bay Area which lack GSM coverage.
We're talking towns with just a couple of hundred people, up in the
mountains or out by the San Mateo coastline. It doesn't matter to many
people to not have coverage in those areas, but it does matter to some
    people.

Most of the employees have a Verizon tri-band phone, since it's the only
service that works in virtually every populated area of the region.

And I didn't say what you claimed, either. You have proven yourself to be
    an idiot once again.

Why do I think the only thing that John will respond to is the previous
    sentence?

Yet more pro-Verizon anti-Cingular propaganda. For Pete's sake, give it a
rest. Cingular actually has better coverage here than Verizon.

Why do you bother to respond? You do understand that many of us in this
group have kill-filed Navas, but are subjected to his ignorance because
so many people feel compelled to continually correct his mis-statements.
