On the "Forwarding On". After working with Tech Support, they had no answer
as to why, whenever I get or receive a call, it would say "Forwarding on" I
should mention I was in Charleston, SC and my Home number was Louisville,
KY. Though I have a nation plan and travel every other week, I never seen
this problem, But it turned out to the be issue. As soon as I got to Atlanta
(as I was flying) the "Forwarding On", went away. I travel to a different
city every other week and this is the first time I had "Forwarding On" pop
up on all the calls. Wonder what they do different in Charleston.

On the Caller ID, this is where my Girlfriend calls would show up as my name
when she called a land line. Since the account is under my name. While
working to resolve the huge mess they created fixing the lines to be under a
family talk plan, the lady said it would be no problem switching the caller
ID to reflect my Girlfriend's name rather then mine. When I got home, I had
the GF call and confirmed her name appears. So it seems to be a simple case
of talking to the right person. Though she as actually sales and she said
she would talk to Tech Support to get it fixed. I confirmed my phone still
    shows my name.

On a side note, I'm not anti-Cingular, but the past 2 months of dealing with
getting the GF phone and getting switched over to a family plan, as made me
lose massive amount of respect for Cingular and Cingular support. First they
lose 1600 rollover mins, then they never added the lines together, then the
guy adds the lines, but I can't switch to family talk for another bug, then
the guy switches me to family talk, but has each line on it's own family
talk plan. And what annoys me, is that every other guys says, wait until the
next billing cycle and see if it works then. At this point, it's almost like
a Comedy, because you can't believe all the things that would get screwed in
the process. Which is why I so dread talking to Cingular support at all

The network's been doing that since it was Bellsouth Mobility DCS.
Probably something in the switches here. It's just a note that your
call forwarding/call divert settings are in effect while you're making
that call. No big deal; I stopped noticing it years ago.

Me too. For anything that needs to be done right I go to the local
company store and quickly root out the expert. When I consolidated my
accounts I just asked him to make it happen and SMS me when it was
done. It took a few days, and I didn't have to do any further work.
