This plan is available from Cingular (at least in TX). You get 2 lines for $49.99, same features as
the 550 plan. But you can't get it from the store or the website, only from Customer Service on the
phone (and even then I had to tell the rep that this plan existed, she initially couldn't find it).
So if you can live with 450 minutes it's a better deal than the 550 plan.

    Cheers,
    -Jason

Re: Cingular 450 Family Talk Plan

I just switched to T-Mobile. After porting the one number I wanted to
port was completed, I canceled the other line. The rep offered me this
package. Too late, too bad. Had the previous CSR's I'd talked to
offered me this when I'd asked, I probably would have stuck with
    Cingular (was ATTWS customer.)

I also noticed that the price of the 700 rollover shared plan is
different based on the Zip you put in on the website. What's up with
    that?

Different promotions in different markets, a not uncommon practice.

You're back peddling again. Not an uncommon practice.
