If you living in the rolling hills SW of OKC, you can pretty well forget
about cellular service, but can get Wi-Fi.

When my daughter and family pick phones, they choose a carrier for the
    'rest' of OK, not home.

Which is what we did when we chose Cingular. They have the biggest network
in Alabama. I read their agreement and they reserve the right to drop you
if you roam too much, but then why advertise for customers in areas where
there are no Cingular towers. They are just trolling for people who will
pay the price but not use the phone. My new company has no such policy (I
actually read the agreement and I asked too). My friends are all with
Cingular but will switch to Unicel later if I like it since it has free
unicel to unicel calling. Oh, and I am not having to sign a contract. Will
let y'all know how it goes.
