I have a V551 which I've been using the medianet plan plan for GPRS for
the last year or so. It has worked fine on both my PocketPC and
Windows XP PC. I just recently bought a Mac and can't figure out how
to get it set up. Are there any scripts that have to be used? I have
it set up as a bluetooth device and used the same settings in bluetooth
settings that I used on the XP PC but it tries to connect and then
    simply disconnects.

I've successfully used a v551 with Bluetooth and OS X 10. It sounds to
me as if you need to try a few of the modem types in the list osx
offers. One of the timeport alternatives works, the other doesn't.
