I just can't deal with the Cingular website, so I thought I'd ask here.

I have an 8125 phone. When I bought it, they sold me some kind of
unlimited data plan. Thirty bucks a month or so.

My question: Can I use this on my laptop? If I get some kind of card?

My goal is to use Cingular for wireless access on my laptop, but I
really don't want to pay twice.

    TIA,

    -Bob

You need the data connect ($59.99) for use with the laptop.

Cingular doesn't want you to, but it does work.

    >If I get some kind of card?

    Yes. Or tether a phone.

    See the FAQ below.

    That's a joke, right?

Wrong. I've found Cingular Customer Care reps to be consistently
friendly and helpful. Approaching them with a polite and positive
    attitude works wonders.
