Went from KIC to GoPhone

Transferred over from the KIC plan to GoPhone. The Motorala C139 is
underwhelming to say the least. At least let me wipe out 'Cingular'
on the display, geesh.

Anyway, I get a:
"your current prepaid srvc will not be available after 03/31/07. No
payments accepted after 12/31/06. Call 800.894.7496 for phone offer
details.
From:3730"

Isn't that nice to give me the warning even though I already transfered
over. Someone I know also got the same message, tried to call *611
and got '611 is not in service'. If I ever use up my blasted money
I'll have to try and swich to some other system. Only using the phone
less than 5 minutes/month has had the credits build up LOL.

So far not so good, but I am finally off TDMA (previous phone was a
Ericsson R278d).

Logged in on the web, my previous balance carried over but the account
name is LOCK OUT CHILD KRIME and it had some address in another city.

Guess I'll have to be known as "LOCK OUT CHILD KRIME" on the web as
there is no way of changing it. Called Cingular and they said my name
was showing up on their end okay. It was fine under the KIC access,
the transfer over to gophone hosed something up.

Look on the good side: it could be worse. What if it was HELP ME LOOT A
NIGERIAN BANK or something similar?
