"Samsung has recently released a software update for the BlackJack, which is
recommended to be installed. This update should enhance roaming
capabilities, especially Internationally. In addition, there are cosmetic
user interface changes (several icons have been changed) contained within
the update. The update will take about 10 minutes to complete if the system
    is already set up...."

Link to Samsung site is on
    http://www.cingular.com/support/cont...device-support .

It works but proceed with caution. I found six errors in documentation
    dealing with links/ continuity.

'Cingular is gone'; replaced by ATT. Notes appears to still be a stepchild.
But ActiveSync now works with Notepad, which previously hung my ActiveSync
    4.5 / WinXP SP2.

See More: Blackjack firmware upgrade available.

also you dont want to do that update because it messes with the phones
already lackluster performance. DO NOT UPDATE THE FIRMWARE!! Just wait
    until WM6 is available

I'm having no problems other than the Mobile 5 issues of no editing in
    selected apps.

Past peaks of 804Kbs now occasionally exceed 1000Kbs here in the DFW area.

At 6:36am 5/5/07 the CNet bandwidth meter shows 1360Kbps.
