    Hi,
I need to provide 3.5G connectivity to a handheld computer. I found
MSM6275 from qualcomm. Is this a 3.5G protocol engine? i.e, can be
directly interfaced to a processor and used? or I need to have some
more circuit around this? He calls it a chipset. But shows a single
    BGA package.

    Waiting for your response.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Veeresh

You need a lot more to make a complete radio, including FCC
certification. Not for the faint of heart, and not a terribly practical
project. But if you must, try to get your hands on a developer kit.

A more complete answer would tell where to get Developer informatioon.

    http://developer.att.com

    is where.

In your opinion. I didn't (and don't) think it appropriate. Anyone
with sufficient skill to do the necessary work will almost certainly
know where to go for a developer kit.

That's not where to get chipset info or a developer kit.

Next time read the question before leaping in.
