I have the exact same problem. Anyone know of a fix?
I am pretty sure I have put in the Goosync info correctly. The issue
is that the default Cingular profile for web access does not include
the sync application, so you have to add a "personal configuration"
for the sync. The sync app cannot, however, connect to the internet
because the "personal configuration" does not have the necessary login
information to use the cingular data network. Anyone know the server
address, user name, and password needed to access the cingular GPRS
network?
Thanks.

Re: Nokia 6102i - GooSync - "Subscribe to GPRS first"
I did past this problem by going to Settings > Configuration >
Personal Configuration Settings. Select your configuration. Change
"User Preferred Access Point" to "No". Then go to the next menu item
called "Access Point Settings".
Proxy = Disabled
Data bearer = Packet Data
Bearer Settings:
Packet Data Access Point = wap.cingular
Authentication Type = Normal
Username = [email protected]
Password = cingular
After all this, it seems that the data connection works but GooSync is
still unable to sync for some reason. I used GooSyncs email support
over a period of about one week and they were unable to help me. I
haven't tried their last suggestion:

"Those settings are valid for GooSync so you should be able to connect
fine.
Your account still doesn't show any indication of your device
connecting with the GooSync server.
It's possible that your network settings don't allow SyncML data
transfer by default. I suggest, if you haven't already, that you
contact your network provider and enquire whether they know of any
reasons why your device is unable to communicate with a SyncML
server."
