Rumors have it that the HTC 4550 PPCP is coming to ATT. I have talk to our
ATT rep. and get the run around about this device. Anyone have more info?
This is a great device. I have played with a unlocked version of the
handset. If I'm not mistake the device will called the Kaiser. I have read
many reviews on this device and have some customers that want this device.
Anyone have solid info or specifics?

Saw over on PocketPCThoughts.com that it will probably be released in
late September, and will be branded as the AT&T 8925 (it's replacing the
8525). It just passed FCC certification.

But from the rumors it's a slimmer 8525 w a lower camera resolution
    (640x480).

Why pay twice the price for the same functions?

Sure, but unlike a certain phone, AT&T will discount this one if you sign
up for two years, or sell it to you outright if you don't... ;-)

Do you not look around at prices when buying anything ?

469.00 is what I found on Google. and I'm sure one could find it cheaper.
And If signing up for new service there may be even more of a discount.

Cheaper and so much more then the Iflop.

And for good reason. I guarantee these will not be selling like hotcakes.
Clunky design is only one part of the reason.
