Can this be right? The code worked for both phones, but is this standard or

Thanks. I'm not going to just blindly enter the code into my cell phone
without doing some research because I am afraid of doing some damage I
can't undo. But I'll research the code and find out if and why it would
work on all phones and get back to you.
Here's what I've found so far.
Entering *#7465625# gives you the lock status.
Entering #7465625*638*# Disables network lock with password lock
relations in addition to the network. Apparently your password is 12415647.
Substituting *738* for *638* will relock the cell phone.
