Is there a way to block phone numbers on cell phones? I have an 8525 and I
keep getting a phone call from a phone number I do not know and when I
answer all I here is breathing no one says any thing. It started yesterday
at 7:57pm and today at 3:43pm and at 4:21pm today. If this keeps up what
actions can I take to block this phone number or report it ? I do not want
to change my cell phone number. I will if that is the very last option.

Some phones will let you put the number in your phonebook, and set the
ringer used for incoming calls. Enter this one and set the ringer to "none".
If you accidentally answer the phone when that number calls, mute the phone
so the other end can't hear and just set it down and let it transmit nothing
until the other end gives up (within reason, of course; most likely the other
end will give up after a minute or two of silence, I'd guess).

My SAMSUNG SYNC phone has a feature, where I can block phone numbers,,,,,
works really well
phone never rings, but it shows as a missed call, with a red X beside the
name when they do call.
that way, if you are on the DO NOT CALL LIST, like I am, you can report the
number.
