Ok guys,
I had something weird happen on my phone. I have a Nokia 6340i and a few days ago I was in Lake Charles and my phone was on Cingular Extend. I made a couple of calls and each time I made a call it would show on the screen "Call 1". I've never seen this before. Anybody knows what this means?
I also have one other question. I was wondering how you send a text message to an international phone. I have a friend in Australia I'd like to text message but haven't been able to get it to go through.
Thanks,
Ryan

Re: Questions
Sometimes it just shows up when your phone is on some GSM systems. It
just happens to be a characteristic of that particular system.

It may make a difference if you're on a cingular GSM or TDMA system.
If you're on a GSM system all you need to do is to send it in the
format +country code/area code/number e.g. +6143835XXXX it may depend
on whether SMS between the company (e.g. Optus or Telstra) can
successfully send between them.
