Okay, I have looked through slews of posts and haven't been able to
find the specific info I'm looking for (to my own surprise).
I just bought a Motorola T720 GSM phone with Cingular. I don't have
Wireless Internet (to my knowledge) and wouldn't pay to use it if I
did. What other way can I add poly ringtones to my phone? Can I use
the USB Accessory to transfer pics and tones to the phone with the
included software? I'd rather buy the USB connector for the price
than be stuck paying for every tone and totally wtuck when they stop
supporting my phone for their tones. What file types does the phone
support for pics and tones?
You responses will be greatly appreciated, and any other information
you think I might like to have will be as well. Thank you in advance

Re: Motorola t720 ringtones
you can just go on motorola's website or cingular website and their is a way
to download tones from there.. not too expensive either (like 2 bucks at
most). they send it the same way you would send a text message.. very
convient and all you need is your phone (no adapters)
hope this helps

Re: Motorola t720 ringtones
That's just the problem, Matt, is that I don't want to do that. I
don't mind so much the $2 for the tone (though there are free ones
available elsewhere), but I don't want to pay for the data transfer
through WAP.
Thank you to Simeon -- I had heard of PST but it didn't catch my
attention until you pointed it out. And thank you to Robin, too -- if
you had only been a few hours earlier, you would have saved me the
search that lead me there! HaHa! Maybe it will save someone else the
time looking, though.
BTW, howardforums.com is an excellent web BB for all sorts of cellular
dilemmas. Lots of helpful folks and links that frequent it, as I have
found recently. Hope that helps some of you other searchers for
cellphone help!
