How would you like to get SMS/TEXT message's that your speeding tickets are
due? Well if you are in New Zealand, you'll be getting just that!

New Zealand Courts use txt to communicate fine reminders

Text messages will be sent to remind people to pay their fines as
part of a three-month trial starting in November. Staff would
send payment and action date reminders by text message to fine
defaulters with text-capable mobile phones. Assessments would be
carried out during the trial period, along with the economic
viability of a fully interactive text messaging service operated
    from collections centres.

Funny, isn't it? Just think of the things to come. But, may I ask:
What was their source? This news net is not available to everyone and I
have often found questionable content there.
