    Hi,
Does anyone have a telephone number for Handango customer support? I bought a
piece of software from them for T610 this weekend and it never came through.
Three emails to them later, and I've not heard back from them. Their web
pages and email that confirmed the initial purchase list a fax number but no
    voice number.

    I'm getting a bit frustrated.
    Thanks in advance,
    Chad

Thank you for the number. I appreciate it.

Calling them, they go through a long litany of ways to use their web page as
the primary customer service mechanism. Then they offer a chance to leave a
message. I wait for that, and find that their mailbox is full.

Something is going on over there, I gather. It's beginning to piss me off.

    Ugh.

Still no word from them. Tomorrow I call my credit card and file a complaint.

Have you tried logging into your Handango account & re-downloading the
software. Usually you will find links there to all the software you've
purchased to download them again if needed.
I've been using Handango for years & have had no complaints. I hope
    things work out for you.

I did try to re-download it, actually. Still nothing.
I've used them in the past too, with no problem. What is disconcerting is the
lack of response and my inability to get through to them. I want to (and
will, if they give me the opportunity) give them the benefit of the doubt.

Thanks for the good hope, Sheri!

    Re: Handango

Are you with Cingular, by chance?? I've noticed that I can no longer
access SonyEricsson.com from my phone to download games. Then after
reading your post, I also tried to get a trial version of an app from
Handango( which worked perfectly a few weeks ago ) & never received
the text message to download it. Hmmm?

No, I'm on TMobile. I've been able to use WAP to access SonyEricsson (though
I've not tried it recently), and in general my WAP access is working great.
I've downloaded other things through WAP (themes, ringers, etc) recently with
    no problem.

What is frustrating is the complete silence from Handango. I've sent five
emails to customer support, either through their web form or direct email.
I've confirmed my email address is working, and I've included alternate
contact info in the emails. I can't leave a voice mail, either to customer
support or to their general number.

Today I pulled up their BBB report, which looks fine, actually. There was a
customer service contact name, so I called and found *her* voice mail. Left a
message with her, but zip from her today.

I just don't know what else to do but contact my credit card company and have
them cancel the paltry 5 bucks we are talking about. The money really isn't a
big deal, but I think either someone ran off with the bank or something
catastrophic happened over there. Either way, its awful business.

PS: My credit card company issued me a credit today for the sale. I think
they did this because it was such a low dollar figure. I have no idea if they
plan to follow up with handango or not.

Too bad; I probably won't do business with handango again.
